Girl Walk All Day Movie Premier

The Masonic Temple
Brooklyn, NY
On December 18th, our friends over at Wordless Music asked us to provide sound, stage lighting and projection for the movie premier of "Girl Walk All Day" at The Masonic Temple of Brooklyn.  The event was sponsored/funded by Kickstarter.  For sound, we brought in our 5 way active Jason Sound system for F.O.H. mains and also (4) L'Acoustics 108P for infill and rear-fill adjacent to the rear screens.  A simple stage lighting package consisting of (4) Source 4 Leko was all that was required.  Projection was on (3) screens. The main screen was 16' W x 9' H for which we used our Christie LX605, 6K projector flown on a custom truss/ Genie ST 20 package. For rear fill, we supplied (2) 8' W x 6'H screens and (2) Sanyo PDG-DWL2500 WXGA, 2.5K ultra short throw projectors. All media was disrtibuted and controlled by our Dataton Watchout media server.

on Good Morning America

New York, NY
On December 6th, 2011 the Moore P.A. Hire Team was asked to reinforce the sound on the set of ABC's Good Morning America for Andrea Bocelli's interview and performance.  This was another application where (6) of our Hi Fidelity, Self Powered L-Acoustics 108P served extremely well as compact, yet powerful monitors, as you can see from the pictures. The microphones of choice, Schoeps Colette series modular microphones were supplied by Jim Flynn Rentals. We also used a Heritage 3000 for studio sound. Here is a link to the interview, Andrea Bocelli Discusses "One Night in Central Park".  Also, please take a moment to look at some pictures of the shoot below.

Starfield: Resound '08

Rutgers University Livingston Campus
Livingston, NJ
When organizers of the Christian rock concert "Resound '08" initially approached us, we guided these first-time presenters through the minefield of event productions. Held at Rutgers' University, "Starfield" required our complete package of options: staging technology (carefully designed to ensure the preservation of the gym floor as venue), sound, lighting and backline. We recommended bringing in a 600A generator to power the production and lighting system, which involved 40+ moving, conventional and L.E.D. fixtures. For sound, we went with Sennheiser wireless in-ear monitors and 20KW of our J60 5-way active F.O.H. system.

Look and see how one enthusiastic fan recorded his experience on YouTube.

School Musical

Louis Pasteur M.S. 67
Little Neck, NY
Our philosophy with all events is that attendees in the back rows should be able to hear the performance just as well as those in the front. To that end, for this middle school music concert, we designed our sound systems to distribute as well as amplify sound as evenly as possible. To further enhance the audio performance, we utilized the latest in wireless head-worn microphone technology (as seen in most Broadway Theaters) from leading manufacturers Sennheiser and Countryman. These head worn mics ensure the best quality sound whether or not the performers are directly facing towards the audience.
